Location
The Michel Apartments are about in the center of Ammoudara by a side-lane running from the village road to the sandy beach which is 100 meters from the house, and spreads in both directions over a total distance of 7 kms.

Deck chairs and sunshades are available there against a fee.
Restaurants, tavernas, bars and shops of any kind line up in the immediate neighbourhood along the village road. Manifold watersports are on offer on the beach, and a watersport center is located by one of the bigger hotels.
Public busses connect to the center of Iraklion (5 kms) every 10 minutes. The nearest bus stop is 100 meters away.
Iraklion airport is 11 kms away,  Hania airport 131 kms.

With respect to the National Road's winding character, transfer times from and to Hania airport must not be underestimated.
